Somehow it’s November next week, I’m already doing 2026 planning, and the Blue Jays are in the World freakin’ Series.
This will age me, but how lucky are we to have witnessed three Blue Jays World Series? You’ll be forgiven this month if you’re exclusively wearing Jays gear. I’ve been wearing the same Jays t-shirt (unwashed, of course) for every playoff game, because they haven’t lost yet.
In other exciting news, a very stylish friend of mine kindly agreed to share how he uses accessories to elevate his style. I remember walking down our office hallway, seeing his outfit, and thinking, yes. His style game is on point - not forced, not too formal, not too athleisure - just all personality. Excited for you to get to know him below.

An airport outfit used to be all the heaviest things in your suitcase that you could throw on without being totally uncomfortable on a long-haul flight. Times have changed. Now, choosing an airport outfit is a fashion statement. You’re going for “I just threw this on,” but we both know you didn’t. Skip anything flashy (and hold off on most jewellery and accessories). There are really two camps: Camp one: Athleisure. If you’re going to wear sweats, try a matching set. If you’re wearing a t-shirt, make it a good-quality one. Camp two: Business trip-leisure. Think comfy jeans or chinos with a bomber jacket. Skip the belt and dress pants.
My favourite holiday is this weekend: Halloween. I love decorating my house, but I don’t love dressing up in costume. I’m going to guess that most of you don’t either. With Halloween on a Friday this year, there are bound to be more parties that require a costume. Instead of defaulting to all black, or worse, skipping the party altogether, here are three low-effort costumes to consider: Superman (super easy), Carmy from The Bear (don’t forget a sharpie for those tattoos), or Kendall Roy from Succession (you probably wore this to work today).
Kith just launched its winter collection on Friday. Lots of great outerwear (my favourite item of clothing), sweaters, and bags! Kith always goes big with its collabs, and this launch is no different. This collection includes collabs with Giorgio Armani, Clarks, Converse, and The Rolling Stones. It was tough, but I picked out some of my favourites: the &Kin Jacob Coat, this double-breasted jacket, these Clarks, and this duffle bag.
Speaking of bags. Handbags are no longer just for the girls. You’re probably used to carrying your stuff in a sports bag or backpack, or asking your partner to squeeze it in her purse. It doesn’t have to be your thing, but lines are blurring between menswear and womenswear, reflecting a broader societal shift towards embracing gender fluidity and individuality. This is an extension of that. Celebrities and athletes have been embracing the new trend. Here’s some inspo from Jacob Elordi, David Beckham, Pedro Pascal, and A$AP Rocky.
What I’d Steal From Your Closet 🥷🏼

This is a great gold chain. Not too pricey, but not fake or gaudy either. I like it because it’s thick enough to make an impact on your outfit, yet slim enough to wear every day, even casually tucked under a t-shirt. There’s something stylish about a hint of gold peeking out from underneath a collar. It says, ‘I care about how I look’.
On My Radar 👀

RW&Co’s winter collection drops in stores and online on November 3. I got a sneak peek, and here’s what I noticed: lots of plaid scarves, browns, and gold accessories. I’ll be honest, the sweaters and shirts aren’t all that special. But they brought in a few velvet blazers for the holidays if you’re looking for a holiday-themed outfit that’s not an ugly Christmas sweater. This jacket is nice, and I like the colour of this suit jacket and matching pants.

Gravity Pope is having a 20% client appreciation sale that ends today. These pants would look great with a tucked-in white tee.
Lots of staples on sale at Banana Republic, including the cult favourite cashmere sweater in deep navy blue.
Levi’s is taking 40% off sale items. I like the wash of these jeans.
Ask An Expert 🤔
Meet Sunday Ajak, entrepreneur and marketer by day, style icon by night. Sunday’s style has personality without being over the top. He has a great eye for shapes and textures, and knows what works well for his body. This week, he’s sharing how he uses accessories to elevate his look.
“An outfit is never complete without accessories. In my opinion, accessories are like seasoning for food, so unless you’re a psychopath who only eats bland food, you always need a little flavour. Think of accessories like the flavour of your outfit, and the best part about flavour is that everyone has their own taste for it.
Mine is simple: accessories should colour-coordinate.
When I pick an outfit, I usually base it around one main neutral colour (black, white, grey, beige) and then pick a colour that goes well with it. The magic happens when you can match the accessories with the neutral colour, like a black shirt with black shoes, or a brown hat with a brown belt.
And lastly, I am nothing without gold jewelry. Pick pieces that complement your skin tone - darker skin tones make gold look amazing, while lighter skin tones really work with silver.”
