The mornings are dark, the evenings are early, and the Starbucks app has announced the Pumpkin Spiced Latte. It’s official: it’s fall - a truly elite fashion season, which we’ll, of course, preview in today’s letter. I’m also sharing a few standout pieces I pulled for clients this month, and linked them because I think you’ll like them too. Plus, a silk cashmere splurge and Labour Day sales worth shopping.

Fall Preview 🍂

Tops: Let’s dive right into it. Fall 2026 is bringing back some classics, like lots of layers and cool vintage knits. Two trends I’m warming up to are the long-sleeve henley and v-neck sweater. One trend I’m trying to ignore but keeps showing up on my IG is the long-sleeve under short-sleeve tee look. Hard pass.
Bottoms: We’re still in our wide-leg era. Think pleated, mid-rise trousers. Spier & Mackay and Uniqlo have great options. Lightly distressed jeans are also back. Think faded wash, minimal rips, and straight-wide leg.
Colours: When I say I love this Tom Ford green, I mean I hope it shows up in every men’s section this fall. Looks like red is also having a moment. It’s not a colour that works on everyone, but an easy way to add a pop of colour is through accessories like a tie or scarf.
Patterns: Checkers (not plaid) are taking over casualwear. And stripes - pin and wide - are making their return to the office.
Steal The Look 👀

Here are a few client picks that stood out this month that you might like too.
This houndstooth jacket from Simons is the perfect fall bomber. It fits a bit small, so the body length and sleeves suit shorter guys really well.
We’re all wearing wider pants now, right? These Giorgio Armani striped pants go great with a textured black T-shirt and add just enough to make a simple outfit stand out.
A quarter-zip is good, but a full zip is better. A bit more polished, a bit more versatile. This navy one from BOSS is a good one.
I’ve been loving the semi-buttoned-up cardigan look. Try this one from Simons over wide-leg pleated black trousers.
Indulge 🤑

As the colder weather approaches, you’ll be seeing more knitwear in stores. But not all sweaters are created equal. We all have knits with loose threads, sweaters that lose their shape, and collars that droop. This Todd Snyder silk cashmere crewneck is not that. You’ll need to take care of it (dry clean and fold to store), but fans of the brand say the silk blend, specifically, keeps it from pilling as much as pure cashmere. At $420, this sweater is not cheap, but if you’re after a few quality pieces, this crewneck in Raisin is a good bet.

All Saints is having a summer sale, up to 70% off. This is a cool jacket, and checkers are very in this fall.
Paul & Shark is having a seasonal sale. Their popular Typhoon jacket is on sale (looks much better in person).
Shop Everlane’s employee sale. Up to 70% off some great basic tees and pants.
Banana Republic’s cashmere sweaters are rarely (this much) on sale. Especially in the classic grey and navy. Highly recommend.
Lots of sweater polos and pants on sale at Massimo Dutti. These striped pants are excellent.
Suits are 25% off at RW&Co. It’s a good time to try out a striped suit or to pick up a double-breasted blazer.
